This safe is heavy and it should be. I didn't have any problems with shipping or the packaging. I was a little concerned when I was reading other reviews. I was sure with my luck it would come all banged up and I'd have a nightmare getting it resolved.....but not at all.

Very happy with this purchase. It was about time we had a fire resistant safe in this house.
